Lovell is currently hired as the Girls Select and Co-Academy Director.
As a player, Lovell played on many levels, but most notably on the Trinidad and Tobago National Team, in which he had 85 caps as his national team’s goalkeeper including World Cup Qualifiers in ’82, ’86, and ’90.
As a coach, Lovell possesses a USSF “A” License, holds the USSF National Youth License, and the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma. He has experience in planning, designing, coordinating, coaching and administering soccer programs at the club, high school, city and professional levels.
Lovell pioneered the company “Soccer On The Move”, which develops coaching programs, strategic plans, and mental training programs for soccer teams. The company also included individual and group training sessions, helped high school students acquire athletic scholarships, and also help prepare high school student athletes for college life.
Lovell has a Masters Degree in Human Services, with concentration in Community Counseling Psychology from Springfield College in Massachusetts. Lovell currently resides in Newnan, GA.
