Mora joins PTCYSA Lazers as a staff coach working predomiantly with the Academy and Recreational programs.  Mora has been playing soccer since he was a boy growing up in Colombia.  Mora has been coaching for over 20 years and got his start in coaching in the late 80’s while playing second division soccer here in the United States.  His first coaching job was in 1986 for Medford Soccer Club, in Medford, Massachusetts.

Mora also served as a Co-Chairman of the New Britain Youth Soccer League and Coaching Commissioner in 1991-92.  Mora also was a certified USSF referee from 1990-96 at the youth and amateur level.

Mora has the USSF National “C” License and the USSF National Youth License.  Mora also has international licenses from the Netherlands and Brazil.

Mora’s hobbies include cars and his two dogs.  Mora’s favorite soccer teams include Real Madrid and the Brazilian National Team.  Mora has two daughters Lorena and Cristina, who also happens to be his favorite soccer player.  Mora’s dream is to see the U.S. Men’s National Team among the top four teams in the world.
